JPPL is capable to produce plastic liners for industrial packaging application. These liners can be used to line inside paper cartons or woven sacks. These provide moisture proofing to the contents stored in them and improve shelf life of the goods. These are optional to be printed with clients design up to 8 colours with rotogravure printing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Choose the micron from the weight and the edges of what goes inside. As a rough guide, light and smooth goods in a carton can use a thin liner of around 25 to 50 micron, while 25 to 50 kg of powder, granules or anything with sharp edges in a woven sack or drum needs around 75 micron or more. We make liners from 20 to 125 micron, so tell us the product, fill weight and container, and we will suggest the right one.
Measure the container, then add enough for the liner to fold over the top. For a carton, the flat width of the liner is about the box length plus the box width, plus a little extra. For a drum, the flat width is about half the drum's circumference, and the length is the drum height plus half its diameter plus 10 to 15 cm to fold over the rim. Send us the container size and we will check the numbers before we make it.
Yes, when you tell us at the time of enquiry that the liner will touch food. We use virgin material for food contact and do not add recycled content to those liners. Mention the food, whether it is dry, oily or wet, and how long it will be stored.
No plastic film stops moisture completely, but a sealed LDPE liner slows it down a lot. Most moisture gets in through an open or loosely tied mouth, so close the liner by heat sealing or a tight tie before closing the carton or sack. For goods that pick up moisture fast, such as some chemicals and powders, a thicker liner slows it further.
Yes, for goods that do not touch food. Our recycled option uses 30% post-consumer recycled content in LDPE, and you can see it on our PCR LDPE bags page. For food contact we stay with virgin material.
