An A4 sheet folded in three (about 210 x 99 mm) fits a DL or DIN long envelope, folded in four it fits C6, and folded once it needs C5 or A5. Check the internal size in our table and keep about 10 mm spare on each side so the papers slide in easily.
Yes, the hot melt adhesive holds on corrugated boxes and on most plastic mailers. It needs a clean, dry and flat spot, so keep it away from seams, folds, dust and the shipping label. Press firmly along all four edges. If your mailer has a slippery or matte coating, ask us for a few samples and try them on your own packs first.
Buy printed if you want couriers and customs officers to spot the papers quickly. Buy fully clear if the document itself has to be read through the film, for example a delivery note or barcode. We can also print your own text or logo on the face. Send us your artwork and quantity and we will quote.
A standard envelope is for one use, as the face is torn open to take the papers out. If documents are likely to be checked on the way, for example in export shipments, ask for our reclosable version. The papers can then be taken out and put back without a new envelope.
